2026 Concept:
TOWARDNESS

In 2026, ReRouting works with TOWARDNESS as a year-long curatorial concept.

TOWARDNESS is a form of directional pull, grounded in coming closer but not necessarily meeting in the middle. As a concept, it resists the pressure to settle a conflict, reach a consensus, or produce a shared endpoint. Instead, it proposes a small gesture toward: a tilt, an inclination, a leaning-in. It is an invitation to consider how micro-movements can allow for proximity without assuming harmony, and approach without predetermining arrival..

Through a year-long call, we invite walk-based artistic propositions that relate or respond to the theme. The call is intended as a means for us to come closer and connect further with your work and you with ours.

About
DISSIDENT PATHS:
Walking Together as a Method

Across 2025 - 2026, ReRouting collaborates with Cruising Curators and nGbK for the project Dissident Paths: Walking Together as a Method.

Within the framework of five PATHS or chapters, a series of 23 walk events will take place across Berlin. They seek to expand the understanding of a walk towards performances, readings, open-air film screenings, workshops for children and adults, sound interventions, foraging, board game sessions, after-parties, and more. In February 2026, we will return to the nGbK’s space for a 3-day public program and launch of a publication titled Walk Notations.
